Old friend... New blog...

My friend Judy has created a new blog to narrate her journey across the country as part of the RAAM (Race Across America). She is crewing for a team of riders who are "relay riding" bicycles across the country. I'd try to describe her role in the process, but she'd probably do a better job.

Check out her blog at: http://www.adventuresahead.blogspot.com/

Find out more about RAAM here: http://www.raceacrossamerica.org/

I have added a link to her blog to the links section on the lower right. I'm sure that she would love to hear from you.

Ahh, the RAAM. A friend from ours from Carlsbad has rode it the last 2 years (team of 8), and will be crewing for his team this year.

They've streamed footage from their crew vehicle in past years (Team ViaSat, who knew?) but I can't find a link for them to do it this year. If the thought of riding a bicycle across the country is mesmerizing and you can't get enough, you can follow their team at:

The race comes through O'Fallon, ST Charles and cross the "pretty bridge" near Alton, so be sure to go out and see them. I'll be up here keeping an eye on the cheeseheads.

It's probably just me, but... Doesn't that require a lot of effort?

Biking across America, crewing for them, or being a cheesehead?
